Capacity


Our private dining room seats up to 40 people. The room can be configured in many different ways
including 2 or 3 long tables, groupings of 4 or 6, a T shape, horseshoe, etc.

 

Parking
Parking is available in the back of Jefferson Tower. Additional metered and street parking is also
available.


In-House Party Service Includes:
The Island Spot will provide white plates, silverware, napkins, table cloths for the buffet (upon request),
chaffing pans, serving bowls or platters, and serving utensils.

 

Menu
All food and beverages must be purchased and/or prepared through The Island Spot.

There is an exception for birthday/wedding cake.
For parties of 20 or more, an order must be placed from the catering menu at a per person cost.
All changes to menu choices must be finalized at least 72 hours prior to your event.
MINIMUM GUARANTEED ATTENDANCE MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 72 HOURS OF EVENT.
IF ATTENDANCE FALLS BELOW THE GUARANTEED NUMBER, THE CLIENT WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE
GUARANTEED NUMBER. IF THE ATTENDANCE IS HIGHER THAN THE GUARANTEED NUMBER, THE ISLAND
SPOT WILL CHARGE FOR EACH ADDITIONAL GUEST AT THE PER PERSON COST. THE CHARGE WILL BE
MADE TO THE AUTHORIZED CARD ON FILE.

 

Decorations


Enhancements such as flowers, linen tablecloth/linen napkins are permitted. All decorations must
conform to all safety and fire codes. We can also refer you to approved party planning specialists that
can decorate the room for you at an additional cost. The guest is responsible for cleaning up all
decorations. Failure to remove decorations by the End Time will result in a $50 cleaning charge.

Room Fees
Payment of the room rental fee is required to reserve the room.

  • Monday – Thursday $50 for 2 hours

  • Friday- Saturday $100 for 2 hours

 

Client and guests must vacate the premises by the End Time. Failure to timely vacate may result in a
$100 fee charged to the card on file.

 

On the Event Date, if attendance exceeds 40 persons, The Island Spot reserves the right to cancel the
event and retain the room rental fee and Final Payment.

 

Service Charge and Gratuity
For parties of 6 or more, 20% gratuity will be added to your total for the staff attending your event.

 

Bar Package
Absolutely no alcohol can be brought onto the premises. The Island Spot offers a bar package for your
guests.
Domestic & Imported Beers, Rum Punch, Wine

  • 2 Hour package--$12 per person

  • 3 Hour package--$16 per person

Alternative bar packages can be negotiated. If you choose not to purchase a bar package, guests may
purchase their own alcoholic beverages for parties of 20 or less.


Bartender fees:

All parties of 20 or more requesting full liquor service upstairs that do not buy a bar
package, will require a private bartender. A $75.00 bartender fee will be charged to your credit card.
THE FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO THE CREDIT CARD ON FILE.
Alternatively, for parties of 20 or more, guests must proceed to the bar to purchase alcoholic beverages.

 

Changes/Cancellations
The Room Rental Fee is non-refundable if a party is canceled within 72 hours of the event.

 

FINAL PAYMENT: Final Payment for the event must be made seven days prior to the event. If payment is
not received, your event may be canceled.


For a full refund of your Deposit or Final Payment, cancellations must be submitted via email to
catering@theislandspot.net within 72 hours of the Event Date. You must receive a return email or call
confirming cancellation was received. Cancellations within 72 hours of Event Date will result in forfeiture
of Deposit and/or Final Payment.

For parties of 20 or less, Final Payment will be due at the End Time. Final Payment must be made with
only one credit card. Client is responsible for all items ordered by his/her guests.

 

Indemnity, Liability, and Damages:
Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Island Spot and Nugent Street Holdings, LLC, its agents
or employees for any costs incurred, including attorney’s fees, arising as a result of any injury to person
or damage of property, or any other claim whatsoever resulting from Client’s use of the premises.
The Island Spot is not responsible for damages to or the theft of parked automobiles or contents thereof
during the scheduled event. The Island Spot is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Client assumes responsibility for any damage that may occur on the premises: this includes any
breakage of glasses and/or dishes, damage of walls, carpet, wood flooring, etc. The Island Spot
management reserves the right to assess a service charge for any damages and/or excessive clean-up
beyond the expected normal range of a planned function.
The Island Spot or its owners and managers shall not be liable for non-performance of this contract in
the event that the Island Spot has to close for any reason which is beyond our reasonable control.
